My Dissertation

My dissertation focused on Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy (DMD),  a X-chromosome disorder that causes muscle degeneration and it affects 1 out of 4000 young boys worldwide. It's important for patients to understand their disorder to help them prepare for future life changes, but most information resources about the disorder cater to adults, not children. For my project, I created an animated educational video about DMD for young patients, so they would be properly educated about the disorder.
